DSA-Sec 2026 applications have closed
The 2026 DSA-Sec application closed on 2 June 2026, and all applicants received their outcome by 28 August 2026 (per MOE). MOE usually publishes the next year's dates early in the year — check back for DSA-Sec 2027. Until then, use this checklist as a reference for how each phase works.
Holding a 2026 Confirmed Offer or Wait List place? Phase 4 still applies to you: School Preferences are submitted from 19 to 23 Oct 2026.

Research your schools
Phase 2 · 2026 — closed on 2 Jun
Submit your application
The 2026 application system closed on 2 June 2026. MOE hasn't announced the 2027 dates yet — we'll update the timeline once it does.
Phase 3 · 2026 — closed (Jun – Aug)
Wait & prepare for trials
- ℹEach school runs its own shortlisting, trials and interviews between June and August; dates come from the school, not MOE
- ℹAll applicants received their outcome (Confirmed Offer / Wait List / Unsuccessful) by 28 Aug 2026 (per MOE)
Phase 4 · Oct – Nov 2026 · CO / Wait List holders only
Preference submission & final allocation
- ℹA Confirmed Offer becomes final only if you rank that school and your child is allocated it; your child then doesn't take part in S1 Posting — read what each DSA result means
- ℹReceive final school allocation (tentatively 24 or 25 Nov 2026)
About Confirmed Offers (CO)
A Confirmed Offer becomes your child's school only if you rank that school in the October School Preference form and your child is allocated it. Once allocated a DSA place, your child doesn't take part in S1 Posting and can't transfer after PSLE results. The PSLE score must still meet a Posting Group the school offers. What is DSA
